Department of Bengali
Bengali as a subject is taught from the very beginning of this Institution. The Department started with seven students. At present there are 39 seats in B.A. 1st year in this Depertment. The Department of Bengali offers undergraduate honours course. The faculty members of the department are always enthusiastic to carry out intensive academic discussion in various areas of language & Literature.
The basic objectives of this Dept. are the promotion of Bengali Language and Literature. The faculty members of this Dept. discussed with the students about the prospects of Bengali language and literature to pick their future plan up with this subjects.
